Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting during night shifts.
• Monitor patient vitals, recognize ECG rhythms, and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in required assessments and training during orientation.
• Work at least every other holiday as part of the scheduled rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry.
• Valid Ohio license or Compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and current.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Must be willing to work night shifts (3 nights/week, 12 hours each).
• Pass a 2-attempt maximum ECG and safeMedicate test.
• Clear background check, including fingerprinting, completed within 48 hours of start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting within the Cleveland Clinic system.
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during night hours.
