Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a hospital medical-surgical unit during scheduled shifts.
- Administer medications, including gtts such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem, as needed.
- Monitor patient vitals, respond to patient needs, and document care accurately.
- Float within scope to the Emergency Department as required.
- Participate in mandatory on-call shifts, weekend rotations, and holiday coverage.
- Complete all required documentation and adhere to facility protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license or a valid Compact license.
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year hospital med-surg experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with administration of gtts such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem.
- Prior hospital experience in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting.
