- Full-time, temporary, 12-hour day shifts, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room setting.
- Assist with pre-operative preparations and post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
- Maintain adherence to sterile techniques and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Float to other OR units as needed, supporting various specialties including robotics, general, urology, gynecology, bariatrics, minor vascular, plastics, and thoracic cases.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
- Valid active license in the state of Washington or a valid compact license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to float between different OR units.
- Must have thoracic and vascular experience to handle independent call shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification.
- Experience with robotic surgery or specialized OR procedures.
- Comfortable working under a flexible schedule with weekend and weeknight call requirements.
