Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Long-Term Care (LTC) QAPI Coordinator, facilitating quality clinical care delivery and ensuring compliance with CMS and other regulatory standards.
- Lead and coordinate quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, including data analysis and trend identification.
- Assist with regulatory surveys, accreditation readiness, and incident investigations, maintaining thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and corrective action plans.
- Participate in facility surveys and contribute to the review and revision of clinical policies and assessments.
- Support the quality management team with chart audits, compliance monitoring, and quality committee facilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska (applied for if pending licensure).
- Certification as a Healthcare Quality professional (e.g., CPHQ, QCP) obtained within 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of accreditation requirements and healthcare quality concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, and medical chart reviews.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Long-Term Care setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare quality improvement practices and organizational processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
