Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel position, nights shift (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and reevaluate patient progress.
• Document clinical findings, administer medications, and perform point-of-care testing procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and support staff, to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge procedures.
• Adapt to floating between units as needed to support hospital operations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and handle emergency situations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS are a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
