• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients, including those with congenital heart disease, post-surgical recovery, and complex medical conditions.
• Monitor and support patients requiring ventilatory, cardiac, ECMO/CRRT, and VAD therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and document patient progress within EPIC charting system.
• Assist with procedures such as cardiac catheterization, heart transplants, and other complex interventions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and shift-specific responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU nursing experience.
• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Current certifications in PALS and BLS (American Heart Association only).
• CPR certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Prior experience working in a high-acuity pediatric ICU with complex patient needs.
