Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: Waurika, OK
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient physical therapy services to orthopedic, post-operative, and balance populations.
- Assist patients with recovery plans, focusing on young athletes, debility, and fall prevention.
- Conduct patient assessments and document progress accurately.
- Collaborate with supervising therapists to develop and implement treatment strategies.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant (pending licenses accepted).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 2 years preferred.
- Experience working with orthopedic patients, young athletes, post-operative cases, balance, and fall risk.
- Competency in handling varied patient populations in outpatient settings.
- Ability to work independently with a 1:1 patient to therapist ratio.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with Meditech or similar electronic health records systems.
