Key Responsibilities
- Perform computerized tomography (CT) procedures following prescribed techniques, including adjusting equipment and positioning patients.
- Maintain and ensure the quality of imaging equipment and perform routine cleaning and safety checks.
- Assist with patient preparation, contrast administration, and immobilization during procedures.
- Practice radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
- Conduct quality control tests and maintain related documentation.
- Perform general office duties such as scheduling patients and maintaining documentation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of formal radiologic technologist training from an AMA-approved program.
- ARRT registration; MRI certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in CT imaging.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- CT certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a rural healthcare setting or community hospital.
- Knowledge of MRI procedures (preferred but not mandatory).
