Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for patients in an acute care/hospital setting.
• Conduct ICU OT assessments and contribute to expedited discharge planning and placement.
• Administer custom thermoplastic splints and utilize various therapeutic equipment such as lift devices and Theraband.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and therapy interventions using Meditech electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care, hospital, or ICU settings.
• Ability to perform OT evaluations in fast-paced clinical environments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Meditech EMR experience.
• Experience with ICU OT assessments and advanced splinting procedures.
• Flexibility and strong team-player attitude.
