- Full-time, Days, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform procedures in accordance with department policies.
- Collaborate with physicians to perform a variety of specialized procedures within the cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) suite.
- Set up and adjust imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients appropriately, ensuring comfort and safety while respecting patient needs.
- Obtain correct patient information and ensure proper documentation for each procedure.
- Practice sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
- Provide radiation protection for patients, staff, and self using PPE and other safety guidelines.
- Recognize emergent situations and activate assistance promptly.
- Assist other departments and shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform shared lifting of up to 100 lbs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in interventional procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of imaging various anatomical structures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with general computer applications.
- Ability to take call, multi-task, and work independently using critical thinking skills.
