Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week contract, nights shift

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center.
• Float between units and hospitals as needed to meet staffing demands.
• Administer treatments and monitor patient status in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, support staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech EMR system.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid Alabama or Compact State Registered Nurse license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
• TNCC and SECURE certification required.
• NURSYS verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 1 year recent experience in the ER.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in high-volume emergency departments.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit requirements across multiple facilities.
