• Full-time, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent, complex nursing care in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU setting.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health conditions and treatment plans.
• Manage psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, adapting care accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of New Mexico or a valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification via AHA.
• ACLS certification via AHA.
• At least 1 year of experience in a critical care or ICU setting preferred.
• Willingness to attend hospital orientation and complete annual competency requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ICU patients such as DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, Ventilators.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and delegation skills.
