• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Days schedule, Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in a hospital operating room setting.
• Assist with scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesia providers, to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain current knowledge of trauma level I procedures and practices, with the ability to float within scope to meet department needs.
• Ensure all required certifications are current and in-hand prior to start.
• Comply with hospital policies, including holiday work requirements and travel policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience, including trauma Level I.
• Valid IN-state nursing license at the time of start; temporary licenses may be obtained after application submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience circulating in the operating room; scrub experience preferred.
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Must be willing to scrub and float as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in diverse surgical units such as gen, plastics, GYN, ENT, neuro, ortho, GU, colorectal, and robotics.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Current trauma Level I experience and strong general OR skills.
