Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations for adult inpatients in a hospital setting.
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving functional mobility, strength, balance, and endurance.
• Perform DME evaluations, provide training, and offer discharge recommendations.
• Utilize equipment such as wheelchairs, lifts, and mobility aids during patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care; never work alone.
• Complete an orientation and training program tailored to experience level, with supervision and shadowing as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Physical Therapist license.
• Basic knowledge of inpatient acute care procedures.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to various hospital units.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience (new grads considered).
• Experience with inpatient rehab settings preferred but not required.
• Ability to treat patients across different hospital departments with minimal supervision.
