Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), working 3 nights per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a busy hospital environment
- Administer chemotherapy and manage patient procedures such as thoracentesis and pelvic exams
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Cerner Electronic Medical Records system
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety guidelines during all patient interactions
- Support patient education and family communication regarding treatment plans
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state licensure
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in oncology or medical-surgical units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in Chemotherapy administration
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt
