Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), nights, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to oncology patients
- Provide specialized care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplants (BMT)
- Monitor patients’ cardiac status and manage blood transfusions
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (Meditech)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or multi-state compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- Minimum one year of nursing experience in a related setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with BMT/Bone Marrow Transplant procedures
- Hematology nursing experience
- ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
