• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment.
• Assist with major procedures including CABG, valve replacements, carotid endarterectomies, ECMO, and vascular interventions.
• Support patient safety and comfort during high-acuity cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including RNs and scrub technicians, to ensure efficient procedures.
• Adhere to unit policies and safety guidelines, including on-call responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Proven experience in open heart and vascular surgery.
• Operating room experience in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with open heart and/or vascular surgery procedures.
• Experience working with advanced cardiac cases such as ECMO.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure setting with a fast-paced team.
