Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Float to other units as needed to assist with patient care coverage.
• Adhere to unit policies and maintain a positive, compassionate attitude while delivering excellent patient experience.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts.
• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or telemetry experience.
• Strong patient communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, mixed-level care environment.
