Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to patients under supervision, promoting recovery and functional independence.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and proper use of equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid occupational therapy assistant license or credential.
- Proven experience assisting in occupational therapy settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols accurately.
- Knowledge of therapy equipment and safety procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
