Key Responsibilities
- Teach American Sign Language (ASL) to students, ensuring effective communication skills development.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance educational programs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid teaching certification in sign language or related area.
- Experience teaching ASL or similar communication methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with specialized educational tools or technology for language instruction.
