Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and advanced life support
- Assist physicians with procedures and respond to emergency situations
- Monitor and operate medical equipment such as ventilators and monitors
- Provide patient and family education and support
- Collaborate with the critical care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois RN license or multi-state RN license
- ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission)
- Vent/trach experience in a critical care setting
- Ability to float to LTAC units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 1-year ICU or critical care experience
- Experience working with ventilators and tracheostomy care
- Strong assessment and emergency response skills
