Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing environment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve patient mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and promptly
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with a minimum of 32 hours guaranteed per week
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations and documentation standards
