Schedule / Job Type

• Part-time, Days shift, approximately 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy treatment including morning ADLs, 1:1 therapy, and group facilitation
• Document patient care accurately within hospital-based Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient-centered care
• Educate patients and their families on therapy goals and progress
• Maintain compliance with departmental, clinical, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
• At least one (1) year of hospital acute care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Strong documentation skills in EMR systems
• Excellent communication, time management, and flexibility skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience leading occupational therapy groups in a hospital setting
• Ability to deliver patient-focused, high-quality care across diverse patient populations
