Key Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, individualized nursing care to OB patients across labor, delivery, and recovery units.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care independently under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Perform clinical skills specific to labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery, and gynecological care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, standards of nursing practice, and age-appropriate patient care protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Manage supplies and equipment efficiently within the unit.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience as an RN.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification.
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate.
• Valid RN license in good standing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Labor and delivery experience is required.
• Experience with STABLE certification and commitment to maternal and neonatal care.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Computer proficiency.
