Registered Nurse - Correctional
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule / Job Type: Part-time, Night shifts, 7 shifts per week, every other weekend availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care within a correctional facility, adhering to hospital and correctional protocols.
• Float to different areas of the facility as needed to support operational needs.
• Work night shifts in a secure jail environment, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
• Maintain communication with loved ones via work station phone; personal devices and smart watches are not permitted inside secure areas.
• Follow all security and safety procedures required by the correctional facility.
• Document patient care accurately and completely in accordance with facility policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible schedule including every other weekend.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a secure, environment with strict safety protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in correctional or forensic nursing preferred.
• Comfortable working in a secure, confined environment.
• Ability to perform float assignments across various units as needed.
