Schedule / Job Type

• Part-time, evening shifts, mid shifts, 7 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a correctional facility, ensuring the health and safety of inmates.
• Float to other areas as needed to support facility operations.
• Efficiently manage patient assessments, treatment plans, and documentation.
• Adhere to security protocols, including restrictions on electronic devices within the facility.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and support staff at designated work stations.
• Maintain compliance with jail security policies, including the prohibition of cell phones and smart watches on premises.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Previous experience in correctional or jail healthcare preferred.
• Ability to work independently within a secure environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and evening shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience handling diverse patient needs in a correctional setting.
• Ability to adapt to variable assignments across different facility areas.
