Registered Nurse - Dialysis
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, full-time, 13-week assignment, days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dialysis nursing care for patients in a hospital setting, including bedside and peritoneal dialysis.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Prepare and perform dialysis treatments following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Valid Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or a compact license.
• AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 recent year in dialysis.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English clearly.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Professional Nursing Certification in dialysis or related specialty.
• Experience working with Meditech EMR system.
• Flexibility to float to various units and hospitals.
