Key Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery
- Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries, including operative procedures
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and perform cervical exams within scope
- Prepare patients for delivery and provide postpartum education
- Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to promote positive birth experiences
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana RN license
- Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Certification in NRP and BLS
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in obstetric emergencies
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working as a Labor and Delivery nurse
- Ability to provide emotional support to patients and families during labor
