Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapy services to patients under supervision, focusing on improving daily living skills
- Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team
- Support patients in implementing therapeutic exercises and activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- State-specific occupational therapy assistant certification
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting
- Familiarity with pediatric or geriatric therapy populations
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
