Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary services to patients of all ages.
• Ensure patient care is delivered with respect, dignity, and in accordance with patient rights.
• Assist in problem-solving related to patient respiratory care and treatment.
• Interpret physician orders, document therapies, and educate patients on treatment modalities.
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators, ABG analyzers, and oxygen delivery devices.
• Support emergency procedures such as CPR, airway management, and intubation.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program or equivalent with an AS degree.
• One year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy of hospital patients.
• Certification/license through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), such as CRT, CRTT, RT, or RRT.
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS encouraged.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency in ventilator management, ABG analysis, and respiratory therapy procedures.
• Ability to interpret medical and technical instructions effectively.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with physicians and care teams.
• Knowledge of respiratory medications and indications.
