Job Title

• IR/Special Procedures Technician

• Full-time, Days (4x10-hour shifts, typically 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, venography, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention, and embolization.
• Set up and operate fluoroscopy equipment, maintain sterile fields, and monitor procedural performance.
• Assist with patient preparation, including EKG lead placement and access site prep.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond accordingly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PACS equipment, inventory, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterile techniques.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification and West Virginia State license (or pending, must be active prior to start).
• BLS certification; Vascular Intervention certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or a related setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional vascular radiology suite.
• Knowledge of fluoroscopy equipment (Siemens preferred) and vascular closure systems.
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes during on-call rotations, including weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ultrasound imaging and operation of fluoroscopy equipment.
• Familiarity with infection control and sterile procedures in a hospital setting.
• Ability to float to sister facilities as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
