- Full-time, Days (4x10-hour shifts, typically 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, venography, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention, and embolization.
- Set up and operate fluoroscopy equipment, maintain sterile fields, and monitor procedural performance.
- Assist with patient preparation, including EKG lead placement and access site prep.
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond accordingly.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PACS equipment, inventory, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterile techniques.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification and West Virginia State license (or pending, must be active prior to start).
- BLS certification; Vascular Intervention certification preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or a related setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional vascular radiology suite.
- Knowledge of fluoroscopy equipment (Siemens preferred) and vascular closure systems.
- Must be able to respond within 30 minutes during on-call rotations, including weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ultrasound imaging and operation of fluoroscopy equipment.
- Familiarity with infection control and sterile procedures in a hospital setting.
- Ability to float to sister facilities as needed.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
