Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts, with additional call shifts as scheduled.
• Flexibility required to float to other critical care and step-down units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients following established protocols.
• Monitor, assess, and manage patients' conditions using advanced equipment and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the Meditech system.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment in accordance with hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii RN license (must be obtained prior to start date).
• Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must be submitted or completed online during orientation).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including day/night rotation and call shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a critical care or step-down unit.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Ability to adapt to floating between units as needed.
