Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.
• Work rotating nights with holiday and weekend rotations, including every other weekend.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs based on experience.
• Perform treatments and administer therapies following physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Maintain and operate respiratory therapy equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in emergency response during hurricane season as needed.

Required Qualifications

• RRT certification through NBRC.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license or eligibility with pending application.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory therapy experience.
• Current SC RRT license in hand at start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 4 neonatal intensive care experience.
• Epic electronic charting experience.
• Prior pediatric and neonatal critical care exposure.
