• Full-time, 13-week contract, night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients, managing a variety of conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient vitals, assess clinical conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Capably care for ventilator and vasoactive medication patients, following established protocols.
• Float to ICU as needed, with increased compensation when assigned to ICU shifts.
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Competent in IV therapy, including vasoactive drips, and ventilator care.
• Professional appearance and behavior; scrubs not provided.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in Med/Surg and ICU floation is preferred.

Additional Notes

• Shifts: Nights, 12.5 hours each
• Shifts per week: 7 days (including rotating weekends)
• Average length of stay: 3 days per patient
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
• Flexibility for cancellation on low census shifts once per month
• Turnaround time from application to offer: 24-48 hours
