Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time | Non-exempt, rotating shifts, approximately 10 hours per shift, 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, optimal image quality, and adherence to radiation safety principles
• Review physician orders, coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other modalities
• Retrieve and review prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation
• Educate patients on breast health, self-examination, and related topics
• Support quality control, equipment operation, and departmental care initiatives
• Assist with bone density, CT, general X-ray, and fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• Participate in departmental meetings, outreach, and mammography service promotion
• Take call as assigned and perform additional duties as required

Required Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• Active California Mammographic Technologist License
• Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• California Venipuncture Certificate (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)
• Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supporting multiple imaging modalities beyond mammography
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality control procedures
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
