Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed accurately
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients regarding test results
• Maintain and troubleshoot clinical laboratory instrumentation
• Provide guidance and supervision to Medical Laboratory Assistants when necessary
• Document and report findings in accordance with laboratory standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
• Board eligible by NCA or ASCP, with certification completed within one year of employment
• 1-3 years of relevant experience or formal internship in clinical laboratory settings
• Certification as MT by ASCP or CLS by NCA
• Knowledge of clinical laboratory instrumentation and generalist skills
• Ability to work independently and provide leadership to lab staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology disciplines
• Prior experience working in a remote or specialized laboratory environment
