Therapist Respiratory Therapist

Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)

Location

• Charleston, WV

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours)
• Weekends required
• Float as needed within scope to sister facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in ICU, ER, and general care units
• Work independently at times, with minimal staff on night shifts
• Manage critical cases for both adult and pediatric patients
• Float between PICU and ER settings as assigned
• Complete required documentation using Cerner charting system
• Ensure compliance with certification and licensure standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid WV or Compact RN license (pending acceptable)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or ER experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (via American Heart Association)
• Willing to work flexible, floating shifts and accommodate block schedules
• Ability to travel within 75-100 miles of Charleston, WV

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Level IV Trauma Centers or major teaching hospitals
• Previous work in pediatric respiratory care (PALS) preferred
• Strong critical care skills and ability to adapt to variable case types
