• Full-time, day shifts, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room.
• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique are maintained.
• Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia levels during surgeries.
• Prepare operating room equipment and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with surgical team and healthcare staff to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all nursing activities and patient information accurately in electronic health records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or eligible through compact licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Solid knowledge of surgical procedures, patient monitoring, and sterile practices.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures.
• Familiarity with surgical equipment and sterilization techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
