Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to acute care patients across a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, neurological, stroke, dysphagia, respiratory issues, and cognitive impairments.
• Support patient care from physician orders throughout the hospital setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Support a wide range of acute care needs, adapting therapy approaches as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (e.g., SPL, CCC-SLP).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience supporting ICU patients and acute care environments.
• Proficiency in MBS/FEES assessments is a plus but not required.
