- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, working 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with ANA standards and the nursing process for ICU patients with acute care needs.
- Act as a patient advocate, providing support, detailed information, and direct care to patients and their families.
- Utilize nursing equipment and technology skillfully and perform technical procedures competently.
- Educate patients and families on critical self-care issues and recovery processes.
- Assist with the inventory, medication distribution, and delivery as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within 12 months of employment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior ICU experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
