Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and support to patients recovering from addiction, including counseling for behavioral health issues and modifying problem behaviors.
• Conduct clinical assessments such as CIWA, COWS, and UAs, and set appropriate boundaries with patients.
• Assist with individual and family counseling services as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Licenses such as LMSW, LICSW, LCMHC, LMFT, MLADC, LADC, or LPC.
• Valid CADC, ICADC, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience working with patients in a recovery setting.
• Flexibility to practice in Iowa with out-of-state licensure if applicable.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in inpatient substance abuse treatment facilities.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR-HCS).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with a focus on patient recovery.
