Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care within the Radiology department, supporting interventional radiology procedures and electrophysiology cases.
- Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care for IR and EP procedures.
- Utilize IR equipment and supplies efficiently while documenting patient information in the Meditech system.
- Participate in on-call duties, requiring availability within 30 minutes of hospital call, approximately 7-10 days per month.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during complex radiology procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Prior experience working in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology settings.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Independently function and make critical decisions on the unit.
- Experience with IR documentation systems and equipment.
