Job Title
• Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant
Location
• Early, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments to residents and patients with disabilities
• Provide direct care in accordance with a plan of care established by the Physical Therapist
• Record treatments and note patient progress in medical records
• Support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers during therapy sessions
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care as necessary
• Complete all required documentation following company policies and regulations
Required Qualifications
• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises
Preferred Experience / Skills
• One year of experience in a skilled nursing facility
