• Full-time, day shifts, 3x12 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in the cath lab, including cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and device insertions.
• Set up and operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment; maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias; respond quickly to emergencies.
• Prepare access sites, perform EKG lead placement, and assist with vascular access and closure.
• Support the procedural team as a room circulator and scrub nurse, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC and McKesson systems.

Required Qualifications

• Valid WA license or active compact license.
• Two or more years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting (diagnostic and interventional).
• Certified in relevant procedures and equipment, including fluoroscopy using Siemens systems.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes during on-call shifts.
• Proficient in medication systems (Pyxis) and documentation systems (EPIC, McKesson).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced procedures such as TAVI/TAVR and Transcatheter Aortic Valve replacements.
• Familiarity with optical coherence tomography (OCT), pulmonary artery line insertions, and ventricular assist devices.
• Prior experience using SBAR communication protocols and rapid response team utilization.
