- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to pediatric and adult patients, primarily in Labor & Delivery (L&D), NICU, and PICU units.
- Float between NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units as needed based on hospital demands.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with all relevant protocols during therapy administration.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient care activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana State Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to start; temporary licenses may be obtainable once application is submitted).
- 2+ years of recent Pediatric ICU or NICU experience within the last 3 years.
- ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT certification.
- PALS preferred; NRP required for certain units.
- Accredited education from CoARC or regionally accredited by CHEA.
- Must have recent experience in Children's Hospital settings.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D).
- Ability to float across NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Note: This assignment involves mandatory floating across NICU, PICU, and Peds units. All travelers must comply with travel requirements, certifications, and licensing policies. Out-of-state candidates require a 3-month break to reset eligibility, while in-state residents need a 6-month break. Local residents are considered for in-state rates and are accepted for certain positions.
