- Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized labor and delivery nursing care in a hospital setting.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the labor process.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage patient needs and clinical procedures.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Maintain certifications and licensing as required for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or valid Compact State license.
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent labor and delivery experience in the prior 18 months.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications active and in good standing.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
- Ability to provide a manager or supervisor reference in the specific specialty.
- Compliance with travel and facility-specific health and background screening requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent (within 18 months) experience in a hospital labor and delivery unit.
- Experience in high-volume or busy hospital settings preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
