Key Responsibilities
- Perform neuro and body interventional radiology procedures, including stents, angioplasty, biopsies, drainages, vascular and neurological studies.
- Operate Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment, including Acuson, ensuring high-quality imaging for inpatient hospital settings.
- Assist with all IR procedures such as angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, and venous access, providing support to medical teams and ensuring procedural success.
- Adhere to hospital protocols for contrast use and patient safety during imaging procedures.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with patient safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Support patient positioning, preparation, and post-procedure care alongside the clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or related specialty.
- Experience with neuro and body procedures, including stroke intervention, catheter placements, and vascular studies.
- Proficiency with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment.
- BLS certification required.
- Valid NC or Compact license required and must be in hand at start.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
- Experience with EPIC and McKesson systems.
- Outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, or community hospital experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Ablations and working in teaching hospital settings considered a plus.

- Shift: First shift with on-call rotation for evenings, nights, and weekends.

- Candidate must be available for hospital orientation and classes each day during the first week.
- Travel compliance and documentation are essential; candidate must complete testing within 48 hours of signing.
- Flexibility for local candidates under 50 miles with potential lower local rates.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a patient-centered focus.
