Key Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures and patient management in the CVOR unit.
• Perform large-bore IV starts, skin assessments, and medication administration.
• Support documentation and monitor patient status using GE Carescape systems.
• Transport patients to the OR, assist with induction, intubation, and positioning.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Required Qualifications

• Current CVOR certification in good standing (mandatory).
• Must have completed at least two travel assignments in CVOR.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical or perioperative experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE Carescape monitoring and Fuji ultrasound equipment.
• Previous experience in a Level I trauma, cardiac, or neonatal intensive care setting.
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation systems.
• Experience with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements.
