Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations in collaboration with system rehab leaders and support staff supervision.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with sports injuries, post-surgical conditions, orthopedic, and work-related injuries.
- Coordinate care with physicians, orthopedists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercises, and post-discharge care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to meet recovery goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Promote a positive department image through professional interactions and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (or eligible).
- CPR certification.
- Strong clinical reasoning, diagnostic, and manual therapy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment and demonstrates leadership potential.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience, especially in sports medicine.
- Certification or training in specialized techniques (e.g., McKenzie, Maitland, Dry Needling, Graston).
- Prior leadership experience.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic.
