Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental policies and standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to execute a variety of specialized CT examinations.
- Prepare and adjust equipment to optimize image quality for diagnostic purposes.
- Properly position patients to capture necessary images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collect and document accurate patient information relevant to the procedure.
- Employ radiation protection measures for patients, staff, and others by utilizing PPE and following safety guidelines.
- Recognize emergent situations and activate appropriate assistance as needed.
- Assist in other departments or shifts as required to support operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of formal radiologic technology training.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Indiana State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a CT role or similar imaging position is preferred, but not required.
- Certification in CT (ARRT) is encouraged for career development.
